PTI central leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi emphasized that the key to achieving political stability in Pakistan lies in recognizing the political importance of PTI founder Imran Khan. Qureshi, in an informal conversation with journalists at Kot Lakhpat Jail, highlighted his 40-year political career, underscoring that he had never faced any legal charges until the past year when numerous cases were filed against him.

Qureshi underscored the crucial need to acknowledge Imran Khan as a political reality in Pakistan. He stressed that this recognition is not a matter of personal opinion but a fundamental requirement for the country’s political stability. Qureshi explained that Imran Khan’s recognition is crucial because of his significant influence and leadership in the PTI, which plays a key role in maintaining political stability. He also expressed concern over the treatment of Nawab Akbar Bugti and refuted the portrayal of Bugti as anti-Pakistan.
