PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, who was previously detained, called the arrests an attack on parliament and emphasized the significance of addressing the issue. He also highlighted the impact of such actions on the country and democracy. The arrests were related to a rally that exceeded its allotted time, leading to clashes and the use of tear gas by the police. Additionally, PTI leaders and others were booked in terrorism cases over the clashes.
