Asif Warns of Consequences if India Stages Fabricated Attacks

[post-views]

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday accused India of potentially orchestrating a “false-flag operation” to implicate Pakistan, warning that any such attempt would be met with a firm and immediate response.

Addressing the media in Sialkot, he suggested that such a scenario could involve staged incidents or misuse of detainees to fabricate allegations against Pakistan. He emphasised that Islamabad would respond decisively to any provocation.

Asif also pointed to Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to ease tensions between the United States and Iran, expressing hope that dialogue would lead to stability in the region.

In response to remarks by Rajnath Singh, he warned that any confrontation between nuclear powers would have serious consequences. Referring to the Pahalgam attack and the ensuing tensions, he said any future escalation would draw a stronger and more calculated response from Pakistan.
