In a daring move, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to challenge the Islamabad High Court’s verdict on the legality of Imran Khan’s arrest in the Supreme Court, according to Republic Policy News on Wednesday.
The decision was made during an emergency meeting of PTI’s senior leadership following the arrest of the former prime minister in the Al-Qadir Trust case in Islamabad on Tuesday with the assistance of Rangers.

The PTI Secretary-General was taken into custody from the IHC Bar Association’s office when he reached to file a petition seeking a meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan. During the meeting, the PTI also decided to continue with its “peaceful” protests across the country against the arrest of Imran Khan.
