WhatsApp, the messaging platform owned by Meta, is introducing two exciting additions for its users through its latest version update.
Alongside the HD photo feature, WhatsApp is now empowering its iOS users to share high-definition videos, as reported by WABetaInfo.
Previously, iOS users could already share photos of superior quality, maintaining their original dimensions.
Once this feature is utilized to send a photo, a new tag is attached to the message bubble, indicating that it is a high-quality image, according to the WhatsApp news tracker.
Recently, some users noticed a similar tag when sending videos. However, the process was automated and lacked transparency, leaving users with no control over the feature.
Nonetheless, with the installation of the latest WhatsApp beta update on iOS, selected beta testers will have the opportunity to test the capability of sending high-quality videos.
