Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has put the health department on high alert given the rising cases of the dengue virus.
In a statement in Peshawar today, Adviser to Caretaker Chief Minister on health Dr Riaz Anwar said teams had been formed to control the spread of the virus.
He said steps have been taken to ensure preventive measures against spreading the Dengue Virus.
He said the dengue situation is being monitored in all districts of the province, including tribal districts, and effective Health measures are being taken to prevent dengue larvae in every district..
