Air Chief honors martyrs, pledges advancement of PAF capabilities

Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu has said that the victory of Pakistan Air Force in Marka-e-Haq, Bunyanum-Marsoos once again reflects its unwavering will and unmatched capability to guard the aerial frontiers of the country. Addressing the central Martyrs’ Day ceremony at Air Headquarters Islamabad, he emphasized that the day symbolizes extraordinary bravery, professionalism, and the supreme sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces.

He paid rich tribute to the martyrs, declaring that the nation owes them an eternal debt of gratitude. Their courage, sacrifice, and spirit of duty, he said, form a proud legacy that defines the Pakistan Air Force and serves as a guiding example for future generations.

The Air Chief affirmed that PAF, fully aware of the fast-changing security environment, is committed to advancing capabilities in space, cyber technologies, electronic warfare, and indigenous defence production. He also expressed solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their rightful struggle for self-determination. Later, he laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument and offered Fateha for the departed souls.
