Former Pakistani cricket sensation, Shoaib Akhtar, also known as the “Rawalpindi Express,” has severed ties with the production of his biographical film of the same name. The athlete announced on social media that he had ended his agreement with the filmmakers due to a breach of contract.

In a tweet, Akhtar stated, “It is with great regret that I must inform you all that after much deliberation, I have decided to separate myself from the movie ‘Rawalpindi Express’ and its creators by terminating the agreement through my management and legal team.”

Furthermore, the famous cricketer warned that any continued production of the film using his name or personal events from his life story would result in severe legal action being taken against the filmmakers.
