The United States has expressed its keenness to enhance maritime security collaboration with Pakistan, aiming to ensure unhindered passage in global waters and foster economic activity both regionally and globally.
This intention was conveyed by US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, during his trip to Karachi, where he engaged with representatives from the Sindh government, American Business Council, Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistan Council on Foreign Relations, and Pakistan Naval Academy.

Blome emphasized, “We are fully committed to bolstering bilateral trade and investment, particularly through an innovative initiative known as the US-Pakistan ‘Green Alliance,’ which aims to advance environmentally sustainable agriculture and encourage private sector-driven progress in Pakistan.”
During his meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Ambassador Blome explored prospects for expanding the US-Pakistan trade and economic partnership, along with other shared priorities.
