Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and wished him well on his assumption of office as the 24th Chief Executive of the country.
The first meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz and the Army Chief took place at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad after taking oath as the Prime Minister of the country on Monday.
Both discussed the operational and security issues of the army in the meeting.
