PESHAWAR: In a candid statement, Donald Blome, the United States ambassador to Pakistan, assured that the US does not meddle in Pakistan’s political affairs, as reported by Geo News.
Blome made these remarks during a ceremony held in Peshawar, where the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) bestowed $5 million worth of equipment upon the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Board of Revenue, bolstering its capacity for precise land measurements, according to a press release.
In the wake of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) recent approval of a program to support Pakistan, the United States has shown a favorable response to the agreement between the two entities.
Earlier this week, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also expressed his support for the approval of the loan tranche, affirming that Washington stands in solidarity with the people of Pakistan.
