Balochistan CM Orders Strict Action Against Anti-State Government Employees

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has announced strong measures against government employees involved in anti-state activities and propaganda. He has instructed all commissioners and district officers to identify such individuals and take appropriate legal action.

The orders were issued during a high-level meeting on the law and order situation in the province, which was attended by key officials, including Balochistan’s Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, IG Police Mozam Jah Ansari, and various department secretaries. The meeting also included divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, DIGs, and district police officers via video link.

Bugti emphasized that it is unacceptable for government employees to criticize state policies while receiving salaries from the government, urging them to align their actions with national interests. He reaffirmed that the state’s authority would be upheld at all costs and that anti-state activities would not be tolerated. He further declared that no highways in Balochistan would be closed.

In his remarks, the CM ordered district officers to closely monitor anti-state elements at the local level and place them under surveillance as part of the Fourth Schedule. Additionally, he mandated that the national anthem be played and the national flag hoisted in all educational institutions across Balochistan, with heads of non-compliant institutions required to resign.

Bugti stressed that every government officer has a constitutional duty to enforce state policies. He warned that any officer or employee unable to work according to these policies should voluntarily step down. Moreover, he announced zero tolerance for extortion at checkpoints and stated that any verified complaints of such activities would result in accountability for the responsible officers.

The Chief Minister also urged district officers to promote government policies in public gatherings, highlighting the opportunities for education and development being offered to Balochistan’s youth. He condemned the manipulation of Baloch youth by the country’s enemies, leading them into a futile war with no positive outcomes.

Bugti called for the promotion of Balochistan’s rich culture and condemned the killing of innocent laborers and travelers. He noted that the culture being imposed today, which distorts traditional values, is not the true Baloch culture. He urged the youth to be guided towards development and prosperity, emphasizing that district officers should actively spread awareness of these initiatives.
