Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to take the reins in a crucial gathering today, aimed at ironing out discrepancies surrounding the recently-unveiled budget. Joining him will be Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, alongside esteemed ministers and financial experts from both ruling parties.
During a spirited rally held in Swat on Saturday, Bilawal, also the charismatic chairman of the PPP, voiced his dissatisfaction to the prime minister, highlighting the failure to deliver on promises outlined in the budget. With great resolve, he cautioned that his party would strongly oppose the financial bill’s approval unless adequate funds were allocated for the rehabilitation of flood victims in Sindh.
