ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, known for his holiday announcements, has taken it a step further by declaring an additional public holiday on the auspicious occasion of the Day of Arafah, as reported by Republic Policy News. This move comes just days after the announcement of a three-day Eid ul Adha holiday.
With a touch of his pen, the Prime Minister has superseded previous orders and approved a delightful extended break for the citizens. The public holiday will span from June 28th (Wednesday) to July 1st (Saturday), offering a much-needed respite.
The offices observing five days of work per week will enjoy a blissful three-day break from June 28th to June 30th, while those with six days of work per week will revel in an extravagant four-day holiday from June 28th to July 1st.
This decision aims to provide ample time for individuals to partake in religious festivities, spend quality moments with loved ones, and rejuvenate themselves for the tasks ahead.
