CJP takes Suo Motu’s notice of the killing of Arshad Sharif

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan takes the Suo Moto notice of the brutal murder of Arshad Sharif in Kenya.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial has taken Suo-moto notice of the brutal killing of Journalist Arshad Sharif.
The Chief Justice has issued notice to the Secretary of Interior, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, the DG FIA, the DG Intelligence Bureau and the President of PFUJ and has fixed the matter for hearing today at 12.30 pm.
A five-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan will hear the case.
The deceased, Arshad Sharif, was a celebrated journalist in Pakistan. He remained very critical of the regime change and those who were characters of the change. He was on the run and finally got killed in Kenya.
