COAS Munir lands in China to bolster military relations

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir arrived in China on a four-day official visit to strengthen military ties between the two countries, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.

During the visit, COAS Munir will hold discussions with Chinese officials to enhance bilateral military relations. Earlier, COAS Munir visited the Pak-Afghan border at Bajaur to spend Eidul Fitr with troops and boost their morale.

Praising the soldiers’ commitment and professionalism, he also lauded the border security arrangements and operational preparedness. The COAS affirmed that the military is devoted to defending the frontiers and is always ready to thwart any threat to ensure Pakistan’s territorial integrity.
