Commemorating Prophet Ibrahim: Muslims Embrace Eidul Adha

Muslims around the globe, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other Gulf and European countries, are joyously observing Eidul Adha, a significant religious occasion that honors the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

This auspicious festival, also known as the “Festival of the Sacrifice,” brings together over a billion Muslims worldwide in celebration.

In Saudi Arabia, faithful worshippers gathered at Masjid-e-Nabvi and the Grand Mosque in Makkah to offer their Eid prayers. After spending the night engaged in prayer under the open sky in Muzdalifa, pilgrims began their journey to Mina.

Upon arrival in Mina, they will participate in the symbolic stoning ritual at Jamarat Al-Aqba, perform animal sacrifices, shave their heads, and then proceed to Makkah to fulfill two other essential rituals of Haj: Tawaf Al-Ifada and Sai.
