ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court judges out-earn the president, the prime minister, ministers, federal secretaries, and parliamentarians, according to data presented to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Tuesday, as reported by The News.
The chief justice of Pakistan takes home the highest salary, followed by the supreme court judges, with the president ranking third. Surprisingly, the prime minister’s salary falls even below that of ministers and federal secretaries.

During a PAC meeting, Chairman Noor Alam Khan informed the members of the salary breakdown: the president receives Rs896,550, the prime minister Rs201,574, the CJP Rs1,527,399, supreme court judges Rs1,470,711, and federal ministers Rs338,125.
Notably, parliamentarians earn Rs188,000, while a grade-22 officer receives Rs591,475 per month.
The NA body requested details on the perks and privileges of the president, the prime minister, the CJP, and other supreme court judges, and this information was shared accordingly.
