ISLAMABAD: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Koliba is set to embark on an urgent visit to Pakistan this week, as reported by The News on Wednesday.
Sources have revealed that the Ukrainian FM is expected to grace Pakistani soil within the next three days, engaging in a crucial tête-à-tête with FM Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. The focal point of their discussions will revolve around addressing the pressing food crisis in Ukraine, which has been exacerbated by the Russia-led conflict.
Meanwhile, government officials affirm that Pakistan remains steadfast in its pursuit of
bringing an end to the Russian-Ukrainian war, ardently advocating for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
It is worth noting that Islamabad maintains a neutral stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, expressing deep concerns over the dire humanitarian situation in the strife-torn nation, while refraining from openly condemning Russia.
Pakistan has consistently abstained from voting against Russia at the United Nations, opting instead to seek international support for its call to withdraw troops from Ukraine and alleviate the suffering of its people.
