In a powerful display of dissent, throngs of individuals took to the streets of Warsaw on Sunday to voice their opposition to the government, believing it is veering towards autocratic rule and undermining the democratic fabric of the nation.

At the forefront of the march was Warsaw’s Mayor, Rafal Trzaskowski, who emphasized that an estimated 500,000 individuals participated in the rally. However, local media reports suggest that the numbers exceeded 300,000 by the end of the demonstration.

Similar gatherings unfolded in various Polish cities, with citizens expressing their discontent and accusing the ruling regime of disregarding constitutional norms while lamenting the erosion of fundamental rights within the country.
