Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar reached Doha on Sunday to participate in the high-level Arab-Islamic Foreign Ministers’ Conference, according to reports.

Upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport, Dar was received by senior Qatari and Pakistani diplomatic officials. Among those welcoming him were representatives of Qatar’s Foreign Ministry as well as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Doha, Fawad Sher, who extended a formal reception on behalf of the Pakistani mission.

The Arab-Islamic Foreign Ministers’ meeting is set to commence shortly, with OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha scheduled to deliver the opening address. The agenda is expected to focus heavily on the recent escalation of tensions in the region.

During the session, Senator Ishaq Dar will present Pakistan’s official position regarding the Israeli airstrikes on Qatar, articulating Islamabad’s concerns and its broader call for restraint, peace, and adherence to international law.

The gathering of Islamic and Arab foreign ministers will comprehensively assess the regional situation in the aftermath of Israel’s recent strikes, with an emphasis on coordinated diplomatic responses and collective measures to safeguard regional stability and solidarity among Muslim nations.
