This is crucial to establish a robust platform for IT development, which includes high-speed internet connectivity, cutting-edge data centres, and a well-connected information technology infrastructure.
At the same time, emphasis should be placed on skill development within the IT sector. This is not just a necessity, but a strategic move to ensure that Punjab has a pool of talented professionals capable of driving technological advancements, instilling confidence in the future of the IT sector in the region.

Equally important is our strategy to foster collaboration with leading technology companies like Huawei and others. This not only brings in expertise and technological support but also crucial investment, which is a key driver for the growth of the IT sector in Punjab. Collaborative efforts could involve knowledge sharing, joint research and development initiatives, and capacity-building programs.
In addition, it’s imperative to establish a supportive regulatory framework that provides incentives for IT companies and startups to operate within Punjab. This includes implementing policies such as tax incentives, like a reduced corporate tax rate for IT companies, streamlined business registration processes, and protection of intellectual property rights to create a conducive environment for IT development.
