Former DGISI Faiz Hameed has submitted a reply in the Supreme Court in the Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui case. In response, he has termed all the allegations of Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui baseless and fabricated.

Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui had alleged in a speech last year that Faiz Hameed had pressured him not to decide on the appeals of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz before the 2018 general elections.

Faiz Hamid has said in his reply that he never contacted Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, never met him, nor discussed Nawaz Sharif’s appeals. He said that Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui did not mention any alleged meeting in his speech and before the Judicial Council.

Faiz Hameed said that he never said that there should be no decision on Nawaz Sharif’s appeals. He said that all the allegations of Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui are similar to the afterthoughts.

After this response, Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has been challenged to provide evidence to support his allegations.

Apart from this, former Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Anwar Kansi and Brigadier (retd) Irfan Ramey have also submitted their replies in the Supreme Court. He has also denied the allegations of Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui.
