Fans of the hit HBO series The Last of Us are overjoyed as the show’s creators have hinted at a promising future. The show, which is an adaptation of the popular video game, has been a massive success, receiving critical acclaim and high ratings.

Showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, who have already renewed the series for a second season, recently revealed that they believe the show has the potential to last for many more seasons to come. Speaking at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, Mazin stated that the show is “here to stay” and “should be around for a while.”

Mazin and Druckmann have expressed that they have been very mindful in planning the future of the series, and they expect it to continue beyond the second season. Mazin emphasized that there is “more to come” from The Last of Us, and that they have considered what will happen beyond the second season.

The show stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Ashley Johnson, and Nick Offerman, among others, and the first season is currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
