Tennis maestro Roger Federer, an eight-time Wimbledon champion, will be hailed with a grand tribute on Centre Court this Tuesday.
The Swiss tennis legend, who bid farewell to the sport last year, will be feted before the action kicks off, expected around 13:15 BST.
Sally Bolton, Wimbledon’s top honcho, shared that the ceremony aims to pay homage to Federer as the holder of the most gentlemen’s singles titles in the tournament’s history. “We’ll take a moment to celebrate his incredible achievements and express our heartfelt gratitude for the countless memories he’s gifted us,” she joyfully expressed.
