Pakistan is disappointed to learn about the university and higher education suspension for female students in Afghanistan. Pakistan’s position on this issue has been clear and consistent. We strongly believe that every man and woman has the inherent right to education per the injunctions of Islam. We strongly urge the Afghan authorities to revisit this decision.

The world all over has condemned the arbitrary decision of the Taliban regime. Many have attributed the decision to deny the fundamental right of women in Afghanistan.
