Pakistan and Russia articulated their respective national strategies and initiatives against extremism during the 10th session of the Joint Working Group on Combating International Terrorism and Other Challenges to Security, convened in Islamabad on November 16, as announced by the Foreign Office on Friday.

The co-chairmanship of the meeting was executed by Additional Foreign Secretary Ambassador Syed Haider Shah and Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Ambassador Sergey Vershinin.
