The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has slammed the door on the Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) request for a no-objection certificate (NOC) to send the women’s team on a tour to Singapore.

The women’s team had eagerly anticipated two friendly matches against Singapore on July 15 and 18, with plans to depart on July 13. However, their hopes were dashed as the PSB refused to grant the necessary clearance.

In a letter addressed to the PFF, the PSB cited the requirement for federations to submit all essential documents for government approval at least six weeks prior to the departure date.

“Given the aforementioned instructions, the PSB is unable to process the case at this eleventh-hour stage,” the letter from the PSB read.
