Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the Government has decided that petrol and diesel prices would remain unchanged from December 01 to 15.

Finance Minister said kerosene oil which is used by the lower-income group would reduce by Rs10 per liter. He further added that Govt. decided to decrease the price of light diesel oil to Rs7.5 per liter.

At present the prices of petroleum products till November 30, 2022 are: price of petrol is Rs224.80 per liter; high speed diesel Rs235.30 per liter; kerosene oil Rs191.83; and light diesel oil Rs186.50 per liter.

After the reduction in the prices of petroleum products the price of kerosene will drop down from Rs 191.83 to Rs181.83 and for Light Diesel Oil, it would reduce from RS186.50 to RS179.

Finance Minister said the deadline for filing of tax returns has also been extended and new deadline for filing of tax returns will be 15 December. He advised the public to benefit from this opportunity and file tax returns quickly.
