Prince Harry is revising a well-known statement made by his mother, the late Princess Diana, in her memoir ‘Spare.’
In a BBC interview with Martin Bashir, Diana expressed regret over her separation from Prince Charles, stating that there were ‘three individuals’ in her marriage. This comment was widely interpreted as a veiled reference to Camilla Parker, as well as to Diana and Charles themselves.
However, in his own book, Harry asserts that his mother was mistaken in this statement. He writes: “My mother, who was a legend, said there were three people in her marriage. But her calculations were off. She excluded my brother, Willy, and me from the equation.”
