HBO Max reveals fresh faces for ‘House of the Dragon’ season 2

The US-based streaming service, HBO Max, has recently revealed the latest actors for the upcoming second season of the popular TV series ‘House of the Dragon’.

Gayle Rankin, Simon Russell Beale, Freddie Fox, and Abubakar Salim are the four new cast members that have been selected for the show. Gayle Rankin will portray Alys Rivers, a mystic healer from Harrenhal who gains influence within the Green faction of House Targaryen due to her mystical visions.

Simon Russell Beale has been cast as Ser Simon Strong, the great-uncle to the cunning Lord Larys Strong and the Castellan of Harrenhal. Freddie Fox’s character, Ser Gwayne Hightower, is Otto Hightower’s son, Queen Alicent’s brother, and the uncle to her children King Aegon, Queen Helaena, and Prince Aemond.

Alyn of Hull, a sailor in the Velaryon fleet during the Stepstones campaign, will be played by Abubakar Salim.
