On Saturday morning, Hezbollah announced that it fired rockets at an Israeli intelligence base located in the suburbs of Tel Aviv. The attack occurred around 2:30 AM local time, targeting the Glilot base, which is part of Israel’s military intelligence unit 8200.
This incident is part of ongoing tensions between Hezbollah and Israel, which have been exchanging fire since Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, leading to increased conflict.
Hezbollah has previously claimed to target Israeli bases, including Glilot, and stated that rockets were also launched at northern Israel, specifically the city of Safed. In response, the Israeli military reported that they activated sirens due to “suspicious aerial targets” coming from Lebanon and were monitoring the situation closely.
