Imran Khan, the key figure of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has urged his supporters to join the ‘Jail Bharo’ movement, resulting in a large number of party members and leaders, as well as local supporters, gathering in Lahore’s Mall Road to court arrest.
This movement, which some critics believe is merely a ploy to remain politically relevant, has garnered an overwhelming response, demonstrating Khan’s persuasive power and narrative still hold weight.
PTI’s social media handlers have been working tirelessly to motivate and reach out to the masses, leading to an outpouring of volunteers, including families, willing to join the movement.
The dedicated workers have also announced that they will make the launch of the jail-cramping campaign a grand event. Many believe that it is Imran Khan’s magnetic narrative that draws them towards his cause, with his recent message to party loyalists being, “Fill up the prisons and break the idols of fear.”
