Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, issued a stern caution to Israel, urging an immediate halt to its Gaza attacks. He underscored the risk of the ongoing conflict spilling over into other Middle Eastern regions if Hezbollah were to be drawn into the fray, warning that such an escalation would have seismic consequences for Israel.
Amirabdollahian emphasized that Lebanon’s Hezbollah group has meticulously evaluated all potential conflict scenarios, leaving Israel with no room for continued attacks on Gaza.
Israel perceives Hezbollah as its most pressing and formidable adversary, estimating the group’s possession of approximately 150,000 rockets and missiles, including highly accurate munitions capable of targeting any part of Israel. Hezbollah boasts a formidable cadre of battle-tested fighters with experience drawn from Syria’s 12-year conflict, in addition to a diverse arsenal of military drones.
