Khan claims disqualification attempts ahead of Pakistan elections

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan spoke out on Thursday regarding the multiple legal cases filed against him throughout the country, stating that all-out “efforts are being made to prevent me from participating in politics”.

In an interview with the private news channel, the former prime minister said that individuals are attempting to disqualify him ahead of the general elections in the country, noting that “new cases are being registered” against him frequently.

When asked about the validity of these cases, Khan, who was removed from power through a no-confidence vote in April of last year, stated: “There is no case that can prevent me from participating in politics.
