Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has issued a warning to the Centre, stating that the Inspector General of Police, Islamabad, who conducted a raid at Pakhtunkhwa House in the federal capital, must be removed immediately. He declared that if the demand is not met, he will lead another protest rally toward the federal capital.

Gandapur recounted his experience during a previous protest rally, describing how he had to escape from Islamabad and travel to Peshawar without his protocol staff and escort. He also alleged witnessing ransacking and mistreatment of police and staff at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House by Rangers.

While paying tribute to the Pakistan Army deputed in Islamabad, Gandapur emphasized that he did not want a clash with the army and had therefore ended the protest rally. He also mentioned the formation of a committee to provide legal assistance to arrested party workers.

However, his narration was challenged by the parliamentary party leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, Ahmad Karim Kundi, who accused Gandapur of lying and leaving his party workers in the midst of the protest. Kundi criticized Gandapur for blaming the Punjab and Islamabad police while saluting the Pakistan Army.

Kundi also highlighted the formation of an 11-member parliamentary committee to investigate the alleged raid and ransacking of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House and called for an in-camera meeting to discuss the deteriorating law and order situation in the province, particularly in southern districts where the government had lost its writ.

In a separate incident, a scuffle erupted among the guests of two MPAs from North Waziristan on the assembly premises, leading to the arrest of three individuals. The session was adjourned until the following Monday.
