SEOUL: North Korea has issued a stern warning, stating that any attempt to down its test missiles would amount to a declaration of war. The state media outlet, KCNA, cited the joint military exercises between South Korea and the United States as the reason for growing tensions.

Kim Yo Jong also suggested that North Korea may launch more missiles into the Pacific Ocean. The UNSC has prohibited North Korean ballistic missiles, and the United States and its allies have never attempted to shoot them down. However, with North Korea hinting at further missile launches over Japan, the matter has drawn renewed attention.
