UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi met Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister expressed his best wishes to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates are getting stronger with each passing day.
He said that during his recent visit to the UAE, several memorandums of understanding were signed between the two countries which will usher in a new era of Pakistan-UAE economic partnership.
He said that there are 1.8 million Pakistanis living in the UAE who are contributing to the development, prosperity and economic development of the two brotherly countries.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that there is an urgent need to increase cooperation between the two countries in the fields of aviation and tourism and there is an urgent need to work on railways to increase people’s communication.
The Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates expressed his determination to further promote trade relations with Pakistan.
