The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the playing XI for the second ODI against Zimbabwe, set to take place at Queen Sports Club on Tuesday. Two changes have been made to the squad for the series decider. Tayyab Tahir will replace Haseebullah Khan, while Abrar Ahmed comes in for Mohammad Hasnain.
This will be Abrar Ahmed’s debut in ODI cricket for Pakistan.
Batters Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, and Kamran Ghulam have retained their spots in the team. Along with captain and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, the lineup also includes Salman Ali Agha, Irfan Niazi, and Amir Jamal.
Haris Rauf will lead the pace attack, while Faisal Akram will contribute with his spin bowling against Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe currently leads the three-match ODI series 1-0, having won the first match by 80 runs via the DLS method. Despite Pakistan restricting Zimbabwe to 205, heavy rain interrupted play when the visitors were 60/6.
