Pakistan has become the world’s fifth largest sesame producer with exports of more than four hundred million dollars this year.
According to the Ministry of National Food Security and Research, sesame has emerged as an important cash crop in Pakistan’s agricultural portfolio.
This is the result of joint efforts of all the provincial governments with Ministry of National Food Security through PSDP funded project National Oilseeds Enhancement Program.
