Pakistan PM urges Kenya for cooperation in Arshad Sharif murder investigation

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, spoke with the President of Kenya, Dr. William Ruto, regarding the murder of senior journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya.

In their phone conversation on Monday, PM Sharif expressed gratitude for the cooperation extended by Kenyan investigation teams so far. He stressed the importance that Pakistan places on Sharif’s case, requesting further cooperation from Kenya to bring closure to the matter for Sharif’s family and the people of Pakistan.

President Ruto promised full support and cooperation in the investigation. The two leaders also discussed bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest.
