Top national figures — including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and service chiefs — attended the event. They acknowledged the armed forces’ valor and the nation’s firm stance during a critical moment of national defense.

Separately, at the UN Security Council, Pakistan’s human rights envoy Saima Saleem exposed Indian state-sponsored terrorism in Kashmir and across Pakistan, condemning the Modi government’s aggression, treaty violations, and cross-border subversion. She cited India’s involvement in terror acts through groups like TTP and BLA, as well as its role in extrajudicial killings abroad.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan-China Institute released a significant report titled “16 Hours That Reshaped South Asia,” analyzing India’s failed strategy and Pakistan’s decisive military-diplomatic response. Senator Mushahid Hussain described the conflict as a historic turning point that restored deterrence, elevated Pakistan’s global standing, and signaled regional realignment involving China and the U.S.
