Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned the unprovoked violation of its airspace by Iran, as a result of which two innocent children were killed and three girls were injured.
In a statement released by the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, it has been said that this violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty is completely unacceptable and may have serious consequences.
The statement added that it is even more alarming that this illegal act took place despite the existence of multiple channels of communication between Pakistan and Iran.
Pakistan has already lodged a strong protest with the relevant senior official in the Iranian Foreign Ministry in Tehran.

Furthermore, the statement said that the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strongly condemn this flagrant violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and the responsibility for its consequences will be fully borne by Iran.
Pakistan has always said that terrorism is a common threat to all countries in the region that requires coordinated action.
The statement added that such unilateral actions are not in keeping with good neighborly relations and can damage bilateral trust.
