A second group of 64 Palestinian medical and dental students from Gaza has arrived in Islamabad to continue their studies at Pakistani institutions. The initiative, supported by various organizations including Doctors of Rehman, Global Relief Trust, and Al-Khidmat Foundation, aims to provide scholarships and support to Palestinian students amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The students, who are in their fourth and fifth years of the medical and dental curriculum, were welcomed at the Islamabad airport by a delegation from the Al-Khidmat Foundation. This initiative comes as Israel’s bombardment of Gaza has resulted in extensive damage to buildings, including health and educational institutions, leading to a growing health crisis in the region.
