Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder Jets show off impressive skills in Saudi Arabia

The Pakistan Air Force’s pride, the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, astounded spectators with their impressive aerobatic feats during the “Spears of Victory 2023” air drill in Saudi Arabia.

As part of the Spears of Victory exercise, a group from the Pakistan Air Force participated and concluded their activities at the Air War Centre located at the Dhahran King Abdulaziz Air Base. The exercise wrapped up on Friday at the Air Warfare Centre at King Abdul Aziz Air Base in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

During the exercises, Pakistani fighter jets soared through the skies, their powerful engines resonating throughout the airspace, and the audience marveled at their impressive performances.

The Pakistan Air Force spokesperson stated that Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, witnessed the closing ceremony of the drill and commended the Pakistani contingent for their role in the exercise’s success.

“The PAF contingent comprised of the pride of Pakistan, JF-17 Thunder, and F-16 aircraft, which thundered through the airspace of our Muslim brethren country during the exercise,” the PAF said in a statement.

He added that the exercise “provided a platform to practice the integrated employment of combat and combat support assets, along with the formulation/validation of tactics against contemporary threats.”

At the closing ceremony, Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan, PAF Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Air Defence), praised the PAF contingent’s active participation.
