Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, emphasizing Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to Palestine, reiterated on Wednesday that Pakistan has consistently stood with the Palestinian cause and will continue to do so in the future.
Concluding the discussion on a motion addressing the ongoing aggressive actions and atrocities committed by Israel against innocent Palestinians, the minister called for the immediate withdrawal of Israeli forces from Palestinian territory and a halt to human rights abuses.
Additionally, he urged the recognition of Palestine as an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
Jilani underscored that “it is both our religious and national obligation to support the Palestinian people in their struggle against the oppressive Israeli occupation,” and called for unity in showing solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians.
