The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the empires for the Pakistan Super League season 9 starting from Saturday.
The four members of the ICC’s elite panel of umpires are Richard Illingworth, Chris Gay Fani, Ahsan Raza and Michael Gough along with Abdul Mukit, Aleem Dar, Tariq Rashid, Shuzab Raza, Rashid Riaz, Faisal Afridi, Rochira Paliyaguru, Alex Haroon, Alexander , Nasir Hussain, Imran Javed and Mohammad Asif.
Among foreign umpires, Ellingworth has previously officiated in six editions of the league.
Veteran umpires Aleem Dar and Michael Gough will officiate the opening match between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United in Lahore.
The tournament will be played at four different venues including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan and Karachi.
