Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari left for Islamabad.

According to Zardari House sources, the former president left for Islamabad from Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawab Shah) after voting in the general elections.

Earlier, while talking to the media in Shaheed Benazirabad on the occasion of voting, Asif Zardari said that the future of PPP is bright, it is hoped that PPP will make a clean sweep in the election.

He said that People’s Party has given a people-friendly manifesto, no other party has given a people-friendly manifesto.

Earlier while talking to the media in Nawab shah, he highlighted the bright future of the party and stressed on the people-friendly manifesto of the People’s Party. He said that no other party has presented such a manifesto.

Asif Ali Zardari expressed hope for a clean sweep by the PPP, describing its manifesto as people-centric and highlighting its appeal to voters.

Amid these debates, both Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari exercised their right to vote.

Bilawal Bhutto cast his vote in National Assembly Constituency NA 194 Nodero, while Asif Ali Zardari cast his vote in NA 207 Nawabshah.

The amendment devolves key powers to provinces, yet Balochistan continues to suffer from administrative bottlenecks and lack of fiscal capacity. Effective implementation—especially over education, health, and natural resources—must be ensured with federal support for capacity building and local institution strengthening. 3. Resource Ownership and Revenue Sharing At the heart of Baloch grievances lies the perception of resource plunder. Balochistan supplies natural gas, minerals, and now hosts the strategic Gwadar port, but receives negligible benefits. A fair and transparent resource-sharing mechanism must be developed in consultation with local stakeholders, ensuring that royalties, development projects, and employment opportunities benefit indigenous communities first. 4. Ending Enforced Disappearances and Human Rights Abuses The issue of missing persons is the most painful and unresolved aspect of the conflict. Civilian oversight of security operations, judicial investigations, and compensation for victims’ families are essential. Human rights must be non-negotiable. Mainstreaming Through Political Inclusion The exclusion of nationalist parties and civil society voices from the mainstream has only deepened alienation. A democratic political process must include space for diverse Baloch perspectives, even those critical of state policies. Electoral engineering and security-driven governance must be replaced with dialogue, local government empowerment, and participatory democracy. 6. CPEC and Local Development China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) offers an opportunity to integrate Balochistan into regional and global trade networks. Priority should be given to Baloch youth for training, employment, and entrepreneurship support. 7.
