 PM Shehbaz Calls for Immediate Gaza Ceasefire at Multi-Party Conference

During a multi-party conference, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza, urging the international community, especially the Muslim world, to act swiftly to stop the bloodshed. He highlighted the importance of using the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) platform to address the crisis.

The Prime Minister announced the formation of a working group to make decisions based on the conference’s proposals. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, emphasizing the need for a strong diplomatic campaign to support their cause.

Jamat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman opposed the two-state solution, advocating for the independence of Palestine. PML-N President Nawaz Sharif called for decisive action on Gaza and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), criticizing the international community’s silence on the atrocities in Gaza and the UN’s failure to implement resolutions on IIOJK.
