PM Shehbaz Sharif hosts Asian Development Bank delegation

On Tuesday, a trio of executives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) paid a visit to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The delegation consisted of Takahiro Yasui, the Executive Director for Japan, Veihua Liu, the Executive Director for the People’s Republic of China, and Sangmin Ryu, the Executive Director for Korea.

During their meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the ADB’s aid to Pakistan following the devastating floods of 2022. He also praised their collaboration in combatting climate change and bolstering social programs. The PM expressed his confidence in strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the ADB in the future.
